PROFESSIONAL PHILOSOPHY
As a programmer, I value freedom of expression and autonomy above all else. Being a software engineer, to me, is about endless possibilities and the pursuit of solutions to questions big and small.
Writing code, the construction and utilization of digital tools, the exploration of relationships between bits of data and the manipulation of said data to extrapolate meaning and expose invisible patterns. All of this, to me, defines what it is to be a software engineer. And all of this has not only come to define my educational and professional endeavors, but it has also come to reshape my experience of the world around me. I notice patterns that I never noticed before, I see connections between events and between people that were previously invisible to me.
And perhaps most importantly, I have come to feel that nothing, or at least very little, is truly beyond reach. With a little mathematical consideration here, a little logic there, and a little ingenuity and patience, anything is possible.
